Refurbishment almost to normal Radisson standards. First single room very pokey and hot, but easily moved to larger and pleasant single room. Breakfast average for this type of hotel, and overpriced at £17 (if not included in price of room). Note: advertised prices on hotel's own website are often room only and do not include VAT. Very close to British Museum, 10 minutes walk to Trafalgar Square, Oxford Street.
Top Tip
Very convenient bus routes from outside hotel (better than tube!)

Room: Very small, with the bathroom being too small. Safe not working. Dark, we were facing the 'well', the up-side of this is that there was no traffic noise. No net curtains. Roman blind at the window didn't fit the window properly. Fittings dated and scruffy.
Bathroom: Shower gel dispenser high up on the wall, fine if having a shower, but you had to stand up if having a bath to access it, fortunately we had a small bar of soap with us.
Great access to central London either on foot or by Tube, Tottenham Court Road tube is only a few minutes walk away. Hotel is situated close to the British Museum.

No comment made when booking in that the key card operated the lift aswell as the lights in our room. Stood in lift for quite a while with it not going anywhere, then used the stairs. Otherwise a very enjoyable stay.

The queue for breakfast on the Sunday morning was a poor reflection on what had been a good stay to that point, a fifteen minute wait. Tables were not being cleared quickly enough which meant a backlog of people waiting to eat.
Please note: although we were booked into the Radisson Kenilworth, on arrival we were told that the hotel was fully booked, however, we were placed in the sister hotel, Edwardian Bloomsbury, opposite. We were given a delightful room on the 7th floor and did not mind the change. Therefore the note re: breakfast is not about the Kenilworth.
Very close to the British Museum, theatres, shopping and easy access to all areas of central London
